Websites are to businesses like foods are to humans, i.e., they’re essential. Since 2010, I’ve had a website in one form or another. I’ve also bought many domains, allowed many to expire, and even sold one for $700.

Hosting services are necessary to get a site live on the web. There are hosting plans for different budgets and needs, including shared, VPS, dedicated, cloud, ecommerce, and managed WordPress and WooCommerce.

The marketplace is full of hosting providers, giving customers plenty of options. However, only a few garner continuous five-star reviews from their customers. Hostinger comes to mind, with its “Excellent” rating on Trustpilot, a customer review site. I recently purchased domains from Hostinger because of their low-cost pricing.

Hostinger Affiliate Program

Hostinger has an affiliate program. Tune’s affiliate marketing software hosts it. It’s also available on multiple affiliate networks, such as Impact and CJ Affiliate. Let’s review the benefits, drawbacks, commission rate, cookie duration, and program details. Here’s a snapshot.

  • Cost per action (CPA): Cost per sale
  • Commission rate: 60%
  • Commission type: Single payment, nonrecurring
  • Cookie duration: 30 days
  • Payout threshold: $50
  • Payment options: Bank account and PayPal
  • Affiliate software/network: Tune, Impact, and CJ Affiliate

Program Benefits

The affiliate landing page is excellent. An affiliate program page is supposed to be informative, and Hostinger hits the mark. It provides pertinent details with a comprehensive FAQ for additional information.

Affiliates can earn fantastic commissions. Where most web hosting companies pay fixed commissions, Hostinger pays 60 percent on sales. That can result in massive earnings from customers who purchase VPS and cloud hosting. At 60 percent, Hostinger qualifies as a high-paying merchant. On CJ Affiliate, Hostinger states, “high-performance partners reach 100% or CPA deals.” Sell enough, and you might qualify for a higher commission rate.

Hostinger offers a 30-day cookie. It meets the industry standard, but 60 to 90 days would be more advantageous.

The payout threshold is high and low. On Tune, the minimum is $100 via PayPal. CJ Affiliate and Impact have much lower minimums.

Reporting is satisfactory on CJ Affiliate, excellent on Impact, and below average on Tune. Affiliates can view commissions, conversions, and performance reports and graphs.

There’s a full-time affiliate marketing manager. When a merchant has the staff to support publishers, it quickens processes and shows commitment. You can contact the affiliate team via email address.

Hostinger wants to empower people worldwide to thrive using the internet. It offers shared hosting, VPS, cloud, WordPress, and WooCommerce plans. It also has domain registration and transfer services. Above all, Hostinger’s pricing is inexpensive, making it one of the best value-for-money (VFM) hosting companies.

Hostinger has an appealing website and brand. Its plans have excellent features, and their customers love them. It has blogs, tutorials, and a Facebook group to support its users. Although it doesn’t offer phone support, live chat is available 24/7/365. That’s a recipe for high conversion rates and earnings per click (EPC).

Program Drawbacks

The maximum you can earn on a sale is $300 (Tune program). Although a $300 cap is high, there should be no limit to how much affiliates can earn per sale. Commission ceilings are contrary to the spirit of performance marketing.

Deep linking isn’t available, but it’s how an affiliate creates a link to a specific page on the merchant’s site. Instead of using a standard homepage affiliate link, you can link to an article or product that relates to your content to increase relevance and conversion rates. Not enabling deep linking is a lost opportunity.

There’s room to improve the creative materials and ad banners. Hostinger can do much more to capture the imagination of potential customers. Also, as a global company, they could have banners available in different languages for growth markets.

Making Money

Can you make $1,000 a month as a Hostinger affiliate? You can and more. Hostinger may not be the most popular hosting company in any one country, but it’s well-known globally. The program’s high commission rate, favorable terms, and Hostinger’s expansive offerings make it a viable merchant to promote.

Where should Hostinger rank in your marketing activities? It should be a medium to high priority. Hostinger’s affiliate program is excellent, but the web hosting market is flooded. Therefore, it might be hard to generate commissions consistently because of significant competition. On the other hand, website and hosting needs are common, so you’ll want to promote Hostinger or your provider.

Top 40 Affiliate Program 200x

I recommend joining Hostinger’s affiliate program on Impact or CJ Affiliate (Tune’s software isn’t user-friendly). Furthermore, it’s a Digital Fodder top 40 affiliate program.
